Our school bases its teaching on the work of Friedrich Froebel (opens in a new window). Froebel emphasised the importance of children having constant contact with the natural world. Our large and beautiful garden is used as much as possible.

As well as climbing frames, swings, slides, tricycles and scooters and sand-pit, children can explore the natural environment in all seasons.

Easter celebrations

fun in the snow!

They collect fir cones in the "forest", watch butterflies, ladybirds and bumble bees, worms, beetles and spiders and experience the changing seasons as different plants and flowers grow.
